African Duet Travel has implemented a business strategy that focuses on all elements of Black Economic Empowerment which will directly contribute to the economic transformation of South Africa

MANAGEMENT

The African duet Travel Management team comprises of 2 executive members. The African Duet Travel group has two black non executive members out of a total of four which equates to 50% Black members.

OWNERSHIP TOTAL BLACK SHAREHOLDING : 15.00%

PREFERENTIAL PROCUREMENT

A project plan has been put in place to achieve our target of 48% preferential spend with BEE accredited companies focusing on Medium and Micro Enterprises, at the end of our 2009 financial year.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

2% of the total payroll will be spent on accredited training.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

African Duet Travel is currently finalising their involvement with a Community Trust. The purpose of this trust is to provide social advancement and improvement programs for the benefit of all previously disadvantaged employees. These programs provide assistance such as housing schemes and educational assistance to previously disadvantaged communities.
